BELINDA DROPS NEW ALBUM “INDÓMITA”

Latin GRAMMY-nominated star Belinda makes a triumphant return to music with Indómita (indomitable), an album that sees her reclaiming her narrative and following her instincts, embracing risk and reinvention on her own terms. As she steps into this new era, Belinda reaffirms that she is unstoppable and unbreakable, using her most introspective and vulnerable songs to connect with fans. Each track on the album serves as a form of healing, mending a different piece of her soul and reflecting the resilience she’s found along the way.

True to its name, Indómita is an unapologetic and genre-defying body of work. Seamlessly blending pop with Música Mexicana, Belinda fearlessly steps into the world of Corridos, challenging industry norms and proving that the genre has space for women. Despite being told that corridos weren’t for her, she confidently pushes boundaries. The album’s focus track, “+ Perra + Bitch” featuring Netón Vega, is a fiery, reggaeton-infused anthem that marks a bold new chapter for Belinda. With infectious energy and unapologetic lyrics, she sings to, and as, the woman she’s become: more fearless, and fully in her power.

Defying all odds, Belinda officially evolved into her corridos era with the release of “Cactus” in January 2024, which also marked her debut single with Warner Music México. That new phase was shortly followed by her first collaborative effort with Natanael Cano in “300 Noches,” which made waves on the Billboard Global 200, while “Cactus” landed on the Billboard Global Excl. US chart. She continued expanding her sonic palette with “La Mala,” an unapologetic trap-corrido, and “La Cuadrada,” a gritty collaboration with Tito Double P that secured a spot on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart.

Outside of its already released collaborations, the album boasts a dynamic lineup that showcases Belinda’s versatility alongside an array of global stars like Jared Leto, Xavi, Alemán, and Tokischa, each bringing their signature style to the project, further elevating its eclectic and boundary-pushing sound.

Earlier this year, Indómita was featured in Rolling Stone Magazine’s “15 Latin Albums We Can’t Wait To Hear In 2025,” building anticipation among critics and fans alike. The release follows Belinda’s celebrated performance at Billboard’s Latin Women in Music event, where she was honored with the “Evolution Award” and delivered a standout performance of “Cursi de Más” and “300 Noches”, further solidifying her impact and evolution within the Latin music industry. Additionally, the Spanish-Mexican singer and actress made a glamorous appearance on the red carpet at the 78th annual Cannes Film Festival’s Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning premiere on Wednesday, May 14, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, showcasing international presence beyond music.
