From Purcellville, Virginia to audiences across the United States and beyond, independent artist ShowtimeTwon is building a career around energy, ambition, self-expression and the belief that everyone has a purpose.
Representing the 540 DMV/Loudoun County area, ShowtimeTwon is an American rapper, hip-hop artist, entrepreneur and creative whose passion for music began at a young age. He started freestyling and creating music as a teenager, using music as a way to express his mindset, experiences and ambitions.
His first major musical release came during his senior year of high school in 2020 with “Heart of Gold.” The song established themes that would remain throughout his career: positivity, discipline, chasing dreams and believing in yourself.
His journey continued while attending Randolph-Macon College, where he played defensive back for four years and was part of three conference championship teams. While balancing football, classes and training, he continued developing his music.
One of his significant achievements came when his music was used for a Randolph-Macon football stadium entrance in front of more than 5,000 people. In December 2024, he also performed at Loudoun County Winterfest for a crowd reported to exceed 1,000 people. His music has since received radio exposure, including play on Atlanta’s HOT 107.9, while reaching listeners in Virginia and beyond.
The Rockstar Healing Era
In 2025, ShowtimeTwon entered his “Rockstar Healing” era, expanding his sound beyond traditional rap into singing, R&B, pop and EDM.
Released on July 4, 2025, Rockstar Healing featured songs including “High Off Da Tree,” “Turn My City Up,” “Zoom,” “Do As I Please,” “These Are The Days,” “Just Wanna Celebrate” feat. Zerø, “Like That” feat. Zerø, and “She Wanna Birkin” feat. Yung Bino.
The project was built around high-energy music combined with messages of perseverance, confidence and overcoming obstacles.
“Everybody has their own gift and niche and what they’re supposed to do on this earth. It’s really for you to look into the mirror and unlock your own superpower.”
That message continues to define ShowtimeTwon’s music. His goal is to create records people can play in their cars, at parties or during workouts while still finding a deeper message underneath the energy.
Dangerous Jet Status
In 2026, ShowtimeTwon entered his newest chapter: “Dangerous Jet Status.”
Released in August 2026, the project represents elevation, ambition, preparation and the willingness to leave familiar surroundings in pursuit of something bigger.
The concept of flying also represents ShowtimeTwon’s current lifestyle. He has been traveling outside Virginia for shows, including trips to Tennessee, using those experiences to expand his audience, see new places and continue documenting his development.
Among the project’s standout records are “GET RIGHT,” “LEAN WITH ME,” “CLEAR THE AIR,” “DANGEROUS GIRLS,” “FLIGHT CHECK,” and “GET UP OR GET LEFT.”
One of the project’s most reflective songs, “GET RIGHT,” focuses on appreciating life, learning from loss and being careful about what you become attached to.
“You only get one life. Be careful what you become attached to, because chasing the wrong things can cost you the things you actually value.”
Another important record, “LEAN WITH ME,” represents the more aggressive and energetic side of his music. The song combines heavy 808s, melody and motivational energy while encouraging listeners to move forward from their past.
That combination of intensity and emotional reflection has become central to ShowtimeTwon’s sound.
Rage, Healing and Authenticity
ShowtimeTwon describes his music in six words:
Authentic. Charismatic. Melodic. Reflective. Healing. Rage.
His music is rooted in real experiences while maintaining a high-energy sound. The rage represents ambition, intensity and refusing to remain stagnant, while the healing represents overcoming difficult experiences without allowing them to define the future.
One of the hardest experiences he has overcome was a car accident and the process of regaining his memory.
Rather than allowing those experiences to stop him, he uses them as motivation.
“I’ve been through things, but I’m not going to let them define me.”
His music also explores mortality, missed opportunities, relationships, loss and personal growth. For ShowtimeTwon, one of the hardest subjects to write about is the reality that life is temporary.
That perspective has helped shape his approach to living in the present.
A Brand Beyond Music
ShowtimeTwon’s identity extends beyond his records.
He is known for his bold red hair, exotic fashion, bright colors and streetwear, including brands such as True Religion. His preferred colors include red, gray, white and black.
Fashion is another form of self-expression for him, allowing his personality and confidence to be recognized before he even speaks.
“Many people who see me down the street say, ‘Yooo, it’s Twon,’ or ‘Wassup Showtime.’”
That recognition is part of the larger brand he is building.
Building Beyond the DMV
ShowtimeTwon remains independent while working with other artists and producers, including YouKnowsCarly, a Billboard-associated producer with credits involving artists such as Young Thug, Rylo Rodriguez, BabyCheifDoit, Fatt Mack, 1900 Rugrat, Sauce Gohan and Sauce Walka.
He hopes to collaborate with artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Ken Carson and Homixide Gang, whose high-energy approach connects with his own musical direction.
His audience has also expanded beyond Virginia, with his music reaching listeners in Tennessee, California, Florida, New York, Kenya, Canada and Iceland, while his collaborative work with Zerø has helped connect his music with international audiences.
The Philosophy Behind ShowtimeTwon
At the heart of everything is a simple belief: keep moving.
ShowtimeTwon believes people have to discover their own strengths, accept that some relationships may not fit their future and learn to live for the present.
“Every elevation has separation. That’s why we have steps and walk in different pathways.”
He also lives by another principle:
“If you have to dim your light in order to fit in, you do not belong.”
That mindset is reflected in his music, fashion and lifestyle.
His daily routine is built around discipline, including early mornings, workouts, meditation, affirmations, studio sessions, content creation and reflection.
For ShowtimeTwon, success isn’t about pretending the journey was easy.
It’s about showing the journey as it happens.
“People should read about me because I’m documenting a real journey in real time. I’m not telling stories from the finish line — I’m inviting people to watch the climb.”
With more music already in the vault and plans to continue releasing high-energy, crowd-moving records throughout 2026, ShowtimeTwon is focused on expanding his reach while staying independent.
From “Heart of Gold” to Rockstar Healing and now Dangerous Jet Status, his evolution has been consistent: keep creating, keep traveling, keep learning and keep moving toward the next level.
The flight is already in motion. The destination is still being written.
