BLP KOSHER is an unmistakable artist from Broward County, Florida, growing up in a melting pot of cultures, which he credits for teaching him to always be open-minded and have respect for everyone. His first passion was skateboarding, which he began to practice at the age of seven, wholeheartedly believing that this would be his long-term career. Although BLP KOSHER had never considered himself to be a rapper, he always loved music and the culture, frequently listening to artists like Hip-Hop greats Lil Wayne & Guru, as well as local stars like Kodak Black, XXXTENTACION & Ski Mask The Slump God. During quarantine throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, he first took his shot at recording music with his close friends, dropping his first song “Sweet Potato” with Luhgary on SoundCloud in 2021. As a result, he eventually met Jew Shiesty, who immediately recognized his talents and inspired him to take his music more seriously. After the tragic deaths of Jew Shiesty and his friend Charmaine, who initially gave him his hairstyle, BLP KOSHER began to ramp up his recording, dropping music more frequently and vowing to keep the hairstyle in honor of his late friends.
As he began to notice the parallels of skateboarding and music culture, BLP KOSHER started to use his work ethic and the lessons learned from growing up in Broward County to take his musical career to the next level. In March of 2023, BLP KOSHER dropped his first viral video in “Jew On The Canoe” (20M+ Streams), resulting in the beginning of his stardom.
