With 90s R&B aesthetics and contemporary pop stylings at its core, Elle purveys an unmistakably unique sound. Speaking about the new single Elle explains: “I wrote ‘wish you would’ after coming out of a long healing era and I really wanted to have some fun – it’s a feel good song for everyone who wants to have fun and flirt a little!” The 20-year-old British-Chilean Elle Darlington grew up in rural Wales but moved to London earlier this year to pursue her music career and is poised to become one of the UK’s next breakthrough artists.
