GRAMMY® nominated artist trio, Yahritza y Su Esencia, marked a groundbreaking moment in their career with the premiere of their highly anticipated performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk.
YYSE delivered an emotional and heartfelt performance at the coveted “desk” which included “Soy El Único,” “Dejalo Ir,” “Inseparables,” “No Se Puede Decir Adiós,” and their recent smash hit single, “Frágil.”
Today, the sibling trio also received a nomination for the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The breakout stars were recognized under the Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Duo or Group category. Nominations were announced today on En Casa con Telemundo, and across the network’s digital platforms. The award ceremony will be broadcast live from Miami, FL on Thursday, October 5th via Telemundo.
Earlier this month, Yahritza y Su Esencia hit another milestone in their growing careers – having earned their first #1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart with power ballad “Frágil” featuring Grupo Frontera. To date, the mega-hit has garnered over 560 million combined audio/video streams and over 270M combined video views on YouTube. “Frágil” was also certified platinum in Mexico, gold in the US, and has spent 12 weeks on Spotify’s Global Top 50 list.
More recently, YYSE kicked off their sold out “Obsessed Tour” which made landfall throughout major cities such as Seattle, Portland, San Diego, amongst many others. Next up, the Mexican-American breakout phenomenon will make stops in Santa Ana, Riverside, and Phoenix.
