The Nico Nel Media directed short documentary details TEZ STL’s upbringing in St. Louis slums, rap hustlin’, transitioning from the streets to music, and his new project Slum Baby produced by 808 Mafia’s MP 808. The artist gives more insight on his city St. Louis and what it’s like breaking into a music industry that overlooks St. Louis rap. The artist states “I had to pay homage to my city and to my circumstances.. This for everybody growing up like me.. Don’t just think you’re stuck because you’re living in these environments. Know there is always a way out”.
