The Miami hip-hop underground scene is massive and surging with talent! Amongst the group of rising artists, is none other than XOFINESSE. He’s coming out of North Miami Beach and has a lot to offer to the game. He’s consistent and takes what he does seriously in which you can hear in his music, and see in his visuals. It’s always great to diversify your sound and styles which XO does quite well. Hip-Hop is the core of his talents, however there’s also elements of R&B as well as hype energy tracks in his catalog.
The latest EP titled “How XO Finessed Christmas’ ‘ has music for everyone under the sun! Some tracks are upbeat and full of energy, and some are filled with various emotions in which we all can relate to. This project showcases just about everything to keep the listeners engaged throughout the listening experience. The cover depicts a “Grinch” like figure wearing a Santa Claus costume, running away with a sack full of money on his back. There’s also the red mask to hide his identity. This is really creative and animated, linking the cover art back to the theme of the EP in “finessing christmas’ ‘ itself. We love to see artists not being afraid to be different and step outside the box. It’s needless to say that this EP from the cover to the music, is a classic.
XO also delivered another project, prior to the EP mentioned above, he also has a single titled “Mortal Kumblast”. Most of us born in the 90’s and early 2000’s remember the iconic “Mortal Kombat” video game series. This artist is hungry enough to capitalize off of the legacy of the game. Again, the album cover is creative, showing what appears to be XO himself wearing a hoodie, with glowing eyes almost like a monk within the game. The track is very energetic and can be performed in front of large crowds to get them lit. You can also jam out to this in the car as well!
You can also catch XO rocking the crowds at the ViceCityWorld events down in South Florida, where he’s honing his skills as a performer. He’s young and hungry so we’re excited to see what he will release next!
