Dominique Centers, Better known by his stage name Buddha Avenue is a young music artist from Oakland, Ca. He started dabbling into the music scene as a producer for his older brother who was a GrindTime and King Of The Dot battle rapper. Years down the line Buddha Avenue decided to pursue rap and ended up formulating a music group called “Stick Up Kids” with his brother Phatal P who was sadly taken from the world. His passing caused Buddha Avenue to leave music alone for a while and he eventually found himself in prison. After his release from prison he began his rapping career once and for all as a solo artist.
In 2020 he released EPs monthly to start generating a buzz. He also began shooting videos for all of his most popular tracks. After teaming up with P.I.E management he received radio placements on 106KMel for his track “Walk It Like I Talk”. This was a huge accomplishment. Buddha Avenue is the biggest male artist out of Oakland and plans to capitalize on that with more growth. His name will ring bells and he will have a permanent position in the Hip Hop/Rap culture.
