She has undergone approximately 15 years of Odissi training and has more than a decade of professional experience as a dancer. Her formative training included eight years under the guidance of the late Guru Raghunath Dutta and Guru Jyotshna Rani Sahoo.
She subsequently continued her advanced training under prominent Guru Nityacharya Dr. Gajendra Kumar Panda at Tridhara, Bhubaneswar. She has completed her Masters in Odissi Dance, strengthening her artistic foundation through both extensive practical training and formal study.
Her journey has also included teaching younger artists. She has worked as an assistant Odissi teacher at Tridhara and other institutions, sharing the knowledge and discipline acquired through years of classical training.
A significant milestone came with her recognition as a B Grade Artist of Doordarshan, placing her among professionally recognised classical performers associated with India’s national broadcasting platform.
From Odisha’s Cultural Heritage to International Stages
Tripathy’s Odissi career has taken her far beyond her home state.
She has performed at prominent festivals and cultural platforms across India, including the International Odissi Dance Festival in Bhubaneswar, Bali Jatra, Raja Mahotsav, Barabati Nrutya Utsav, Lingaraj Dance Festival, Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Festival, National Odissi Dance and Music Festival and several other major celebrations.

Mokshada Tripathy made her acting debut with the Odia short film BAPA in 2021. The film was released on the international OTT platform MX Player and subsequently continued its visibility through Tarang television and Tarang Plus.
Her performance received recognition in the Ollywood industry, including the Best Actress award for BAPA, followed by the Global Luminary Award in 2025.

In 2026, she assisted Guru Dr. Gajendra Kumar Panda as coordinator of Tridhara during the International Summer Odissi Workshop and served as coordinator of Debasmruti 2026.

She graduated in Sociology from JKBK College under Utkal University in 2022 and completed her Master of Arts in Sociology from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, in 2024.
Her academic performance led to a merit based scholarship opportunity in 2025, through which she worked as an HR Trainee with Edu Tantr Company in Bangalore.
She subsequently entered professional human resources management and has been working as an HR Assistant Manager with People’s Forum in Bhubaneswar since December 2025.
