The Memphis rapper faces federal charges of robbery and kidnapping stemming from an alleged January 2026 incident involving Gucci Mane. Prosecutors claim the confrontation at a Dallas recording studio arose from a dispute over Shiesty’s contract with Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records label. His father, Lontrell Williams Sr., Big30, and six other co-defendants have also been indicted in the case, with a joint trial scheduled.
Shiesty has sought pretrial release, but judges have denied bail, citing concerns that he poses a flight risk and a danger to the community. He remains in custody ahead of the trial, now set for February 2027.
Despite these obstacles, new music from Shiesty has continued to surface. His latest project, All Eyes On Shiest, dropped recently and has drawn praise from listeners for its authentic tone and raw energy. The album was released through 1017 and Atlantic while he remains incarcerated.
