Four years earlier, in 2013, the city of Arcadia unveiled a nine foot bronze statue of Baldwin titled A Dawn in the West by artist Alfred Paredes. The sculpture, located at the southern gate of Santa Anita Park, was commissioned by Margaux and her relative Heather Gibson, symbolizing both tribute and continuity.
