Early Doors Headline Big Condo Records Special – A Night of Raw Talent and Rock Energy Now They Perform at The Weekender

This past weekend, Early Doors headlined a packed Big Condo Records special event, delivering a high-energy performance that set the room alight. Held at a buzzing local venue Peggy McCools in Warrington, the night showcased a stellar lineup of rising talent, including The Craven, The Vandangos, Seagoth, and special guest Tayana Rain.

The night kicked off with Tayana Rain, who opened with a soulful acoustic set that captured the audience immediately. Her stripped-back vocals and heartfelt lyrics created an intimate atmosphere and set the tone for the night.

The Vandangos followed with their signature skate-punk alternative rock sound, bringing serious energy and attitude to the stage. Their gritty performance had heads nodding and feet moving.

Next up was Seagoth, delivering a psychedelic-infused set layered with ambient keys and dreamy soundscapes. The performance brought a creative shift in tone, showcasing the diversity of talent on the Big Condo roster.

The Craven then took the stage with a powerful rock set, blending original tracks with crowd-pleasing covers. Their tight musicianship and stage presence kept the energy flowing as the crowd geared up for the headliner.

Finally, Early Doors closed the night with a fiery performance of Scouse-flavoured alternative rock. Blazing through a mix of original anthems and electrifying covers, their set was packed with sick riffs, thunderous drums, and undeniable charisma. The crowd went wild, and in a moment of pure rock ‘n’ roll energy, the drummer threw his kit onto the stage in a soul-charged finale that summed up the raw spirit of the night.

This event was another testament to Big Condo Records’ commitment to showcasing grassroots talent and creating unforgettable live music experiences.

Early Doors Spotlight Interview

1. What makes your band’s live performance stand out, and what can the crowd expect at the Weekender?

We try to make our sets as memorable as possible. We rehearse regularly so we’re tight and in sync, and we always bring a lot of energy and variety. Our upcoming debut album (shameless plug!) is packed with dynamic tracks, and we aim to bring that same diversity to the stage. The crowd can expect big sounds, plenty of attitude, and maybe even a new cover debut at the Weekender…

2. How has your journey with Big Condo Records influenced your growth as a band so far?

Big Condo has been a massive part of our journey. They’ve supported us from day one — not just with gigs, but by helping us build real momentum and visibility. They’ve created opportunities we wouldn’t have had otherwise, and for a local band like us, that’s invaluable.

3. Who are your biggest musical influences as a group, and how do they come through in your music?

There’s quite a mix! That’s probably why each of our songs has its own vibe. As a group, we’re inspired by The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys — and Tyler is a huge fan of Dave Grohl. Those influences definitely shape our sound, from psychedelic touches to big indie rock moments.

4. What does the local music scene mean to you, and how has it shaped your identity as a band?

Music in Liverpool isn’t part of the culture — it is the culture. It’s in the streets, the venues, the people. The city’s music history is huge, and we’re proud to be part of that ongoing story. The scene has given us identity, inspiration, and a strong sense of community.

5. If you could collaborate with any artist performing at the Weekender, who would it be and why?

Honestly, we’d be buzzing to collaborate with anyone on the lineup. The Liverpool scene has launched so many legends — The Coral, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Wombats, Jamie Webster — and the Weekender reflects that same depth of talent. We’re just excited to share a stage with so many great acts. Big shout to Big Condo for having us back!
