In addition to its place as one of the premier Latin Music festivals in North America, Sueños Music Festival is dedicated to highlighting every aspect of Latin American culture. Since its inaugural edition in 2022, Sueños has used its platform to highlight a diverse selection of Chicago’s finest Latin cuisine, and today announces its full lineup of food vendors for the 2025 festival.
Notable among the festival’s food vendors are:
- Altiro, popular local Latin fusion restaurant
- Tacombi, a national taco and Mexican cuisine establishment
- Beloved Chicago Mexican-American restaurant Fat Rosie’s
- Michelada specialists like Pinches Miches & Chicago’s Micheladas
- Venezuelan eateries like Rica Arepas and Sabe Y Zulia
- Authentic Puerto Rican eatery Jibaritos Y Mas
- Premium options for sweets including Dark Matter Coffee & Sleep Walk Chocolateria and Xurro, the acclaimed SW Chicago churro café
- Empanada options, including Café Tola and Fons Empanadas
- Agua Fresca experts Aguas Laguneras
- Non-Latin options, including Chicago’s Doghouse, Frannie’s Beef, and KameHachi, Chicago’s original sushi bar.
With its assortment of on-site options and its past “20 Days of Sueños” initiative, dedicated to driving business to local restaurants in Chicago’s Mexican-American and other Latino neighborhoods, Sueños Festival has made a tangible impact on Chicago’s community of food vendors. After garnering rave reviews at the festival, Prime Tacos capitalized on the momentum to establish multiple brick-and-mortar locations in Chicago. Prime Tacos returns this year, and can be found at La Plaza, along with other vendors that hope to draw enough attention to level up their presence in the city. In addition, Sueños plans to offer more local options than ever this year in the brand new festival area, Sabores de DoorDash, sponsored by DoorDash, which highlights popular Chicago cuisine.
Fans will enjoy this excellent cuisine while listening to an enviable lineup of Latin Music’s biggest stars. The lineup will be headlined by Shakira, who recently announced that her Sueños performance will have an epic two-hour length and state-of-the-art, tour style production, along with fellow headliners Peso Pluma, Don Omar, and Grupo Frontera. Beyond the headliners, Sueños welcomes Reggaeton legend Arcangel, dembow boss El Alfa, Mexican music riser Oscar Maydon, Nicaraguan-American DJ Gordo, and many more. Sueños makes its return to Chicago’s Grant Park from May 24-25th, 2025.
Limited single-day and 2-day passes for Sueños 2025 are available at suenosmusicfestival.com.
With fewer than one month left until the festival, Sueños prepares for yet another amazing year.
