Blaq Tuxedo Go From Writing Songs to Center Stage

Blaq Tuxedo, the Grammy-winning R&B duo, producers and songwriters comprised of brothers Darius and Dominique Logan. Hailing from Sacramento and now based in LA, the duo has spent over a decade crafts some of the biggest hits including Doja Cat’s global smash “Streets” and Chris Brown’s #1 Billboard Hot R&B hit “Residuals”. and shaping the sound of contemporary R&B and Pop, both behind the scenes and as artists in their own right. 

Now, Blaq tuxedo is stepping back into the spotlight with their own artistry, announcing their anticipated new project, Should’ve Seen This Coming, slated for release April 25th. Marking as their first major release as a duo since their 2019 self-titled album BLAQ TUXEDO and promises to showcase their continued evolution. Building on previous projects like ABA (Art by Accident, winning their first NAACP award and collaborations with artists like Ty Dolla $ign, Eric Bellinger and Bibi Bourelly, Should’ve Seen This Coming melds their signature soulful melodies, innovative production, and authentic storytelling. 

Should’ve Seen This Coming represents the culmination of Blaq Tuxedo’s journey – from young talents honing their craft to becoming Grammy-nominated hitmakers (TGT’s Three Kings + Chris Brown’s 1:11 album) and established artists. The project delves into themes reflecting their experiences navigating the music industry, personal growth, love and the confidence gained from years of success both on stage and behind the console. It’s a body of work that leverages their sharp pen & vocal chemistry, set against the backdrop of cutting edge R&B production.
