On the inspiration behind his latest offering, Day Lee states, “This song is about that one person you just can’t shake — the one you’ve stayed exclusive for, even when things get complicated. It’s about proving that no matter how many people have tried and failed to be what they need, I’m the one who truly gets them. I’m the one who should be there tonight.”
Hailing from the Lower East Side, Day Lee has an uncanny ability to create music that’s imbued with dreamlike wonder.
