Upcoming Indie Rock Band The Space Turtles Have Released Their Most Nostalgic Song Yet

Indie rock is in good hands with The Space Turtles. Hailing from Long Island, this power trio is bringing the perfect blend of nostalgia, high energy, and emotional depth to the scene. Their music is a love letter to growing up, moving on, and the moments that stick with you forever—wrapped in punchy guitar riffs and anthemic hooks.

The band consist of  Nick Orifici on vocals and guitar, Andrew Rizzo on bass and
Adam Kaplan is on Drums. Since forming, they’ve built a reputation for electrifying performances, whether it’s at packed venues or house parties that feel straight out of a coming-of-age movie. Their sound is a mix of classic 2000s indie rock with a fresh, modern twist—think fast tempos, singalong choruses, and the kind of storytelling that hits you right in the feels.

Their latest single, “Memory Lane,” is exactly what it sounds like—a sonic trip through the past, drenched in nostalgia. Written by Nick with lyrics that capture the longing for simpler times and a melody that sticks in your head, “Memory Lane” is more than just a song, it’s an old album book you’ve found in your childhood room as an adult. The band continues to build momentum with other standout tracks like “IPV,” “Let It Go,” “Smoking Gun,” and “Sticks and Stones.”

The Space Turtles are proving that indie rock thrives on authenticity, energy, and a good dose of nostalgia. With new music on the horizon and a fanbase that keeps growing, they’re a band you’ll want to keep your eyes (and ears) on.

If you love music that makes you feel something, that takes you back to the days of CDs and late-night drives with no destination, The Space Turtles are your new favourite band.
