I started painting at just one and a half years old.” Her passion for different art forms flourished as she explored various mediums and learned from inspiring teachers. This exploration quickly transformed into a mission: using art to share her peaceful experiences with the world.

The Inspiration behind her Art

When asked about the core inspiration behind her work, Anjali reflects on the power of art to promote peace. “Art has the ability to deeply convey messages, question our actions, heal, uplift, and connect us to the tranquillity of nature,” she explains. “This has always been my guiding force—spreading peace through art.”

A Milestone of Reflection

Having celebrated 25 years in the art world, Anjali sees this milestone as a moment of personal growth. “It has been fulfilling,” she shares. “It’s a reflection of my evolution as an artist, a parent, and a person. It’s also given me a chance to express gratitude to everyone who has contributed to my success.”

Cultural Heritage and Artistic Style

Anjali’s cultural roots play a vital role in her work, deeply influencing the themes she explores. “Indian culture, with its rich symbolism and spiritual depth, profoundly shapes my art,” she says. “But I blend realism and abstraction in a way that resonates universally, creating pieces that appeal to people across the globe.”

The Process of Creation

When selecting her mediums, Anjali chooses based on the emotion she wishes to convey. “Watercolors create a delicate, calming sense, while oil pastels are used for bolder expressions,” she notes. “I enjoy experimenting with mixed media to find the one that best reflects the message of the painting.”

Anjali’s earlier collections were mostly oil and acrylics on huge canvases. In her recent art collection, she has also brought forth smaller size paintings which the art lovers can easily place anywhere in their homes and offices.

These black and white paintings, sometimes accented with shimmering watercolors, represent clarity and peace. They can be placed in homes, offices, meditative and other spaces, where they can serve as a reminder of the inner peace that resides within us.”
