Growing up in the rugged and raw streets of Lithuania, a lesser-known yet gritty corner of Eastern Europe, shaped me in ways I am only now beginning to articulate. The landscape of my childhood was neither polished nor glamorous, and it often felt like the ghetto, as we referred to it. However, since leaving years ago, I have not returned, and perhaps it is now transformed, much like my journey.
Musically, my influences were powerhouses of the industry. I immersed myself in the art of legends: Tupac, Biggie, DMX, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, alongside local hip-hop artists. Days were spent dissecting their sounds, rhythms, and lyrics. These artists didn’t just form my musical backdrop; they carved out my passion for music.
My ambition took me to “X Factor,” a pivotal moment where I stepped on stage to showcase my skills. Introducing myself as a rapper, I faced rejection from the judges due to a perceived lack of singing or melody. Yet, this only fueled the fire within me.
Music was never a family endeavor. There was no studio in a friend’s garage, no family member strumming a guitar at gatherings. Music was my private venture, a passion that sprouted from my own heart. The pursuit was magical, personal, and relentless.
I found myself relocating, first to the UK, then to Spain, and eventually arriving in Los Angeles—the City of Angels. There, amidst the bustling creativity and dynamic scenery, I fell deeply in love with the city that thrives on dreams and music.
This journey overseas has allowed me to independently release three mixtapes, each climbing beyond the standards set by the last. Music for me is a deeply personal competition; my only rival is my former self.
Now, standing on the precipice of a new chapter, I am thrilled to announce my latest project: a collaboration single with YoungBoy Never Broke Again and DJ CEO. This collaboration marks the most significant step in my musical journey to date, symbolizing the threshold of new beginnings.
