With over three decades of experience in insurance sales, management, and business development, Joseph has cultivated a reputation as a visionary leader with an innate ability to identify opportunities and steer businesses towards success. His journey began with a solid educational foundation from the Institute International Jounieh, Lebanon, in 1992, followed by additional courses in Islamic Banking and Insurance, a Chartered Marketing Consultant Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, and a Diploma in Insurance. Armed with certifications as an insurance professional and a certified Business Development executive from prestigious institutions such as the Institute of Accounting Technicians- Canada and the Chartered Association of Business Administrators- Canada, Joseph ventured into entrepreneurship, determined to leave an indelible mark on the business world.
Joseph has a knack for spotting emerging trends and capitalizing on them, leading his ventures to flourish across diverse sectors, including insurance, consultancy, trade, gold, and e-commerce. As a leader, he is not content with the status quo; he is constantly driving change and pushing boundaries. His visionary approach to leadership has enabled him to navigate through challenges with agility and foresight, paving the way for continued growth and innovation in the businesses he spearheads.
Joseph’s foray into the insurance world commenced in 1994, when he embarked on a path of door-to-door sales, navigating the intricacies of the industry with determination and zeal. Initially starting at an in-insurance broker, he quickly recognized the potential for growth and autonomy in the freelance realm, where he honed his skills until 2006, which is when he moved to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Joseph embarked on a new chapter in 2010, founding Capital Shield Insurance Brokers LLC (CSIB). Despite facing intens challenges in persuading companies to enlist his services, Joseph remained undeterred, championing the ethos that “there is nothing like a dream to create the future.”
Under Joseph’s astute leadership, (CSIB) underwent a meteoric rise, evolving from a modest startup with just two employees to a powerhouse in the UAE’s insurance landscape, with a diverse portfolio spanning defense contractors’ marine hulls, airports, ports, aviation, and power plants. Not content with merely charting the status quo, Joseph set his sights on technological innovation, spearheading the introduction of insurance services via a smart App—a first in the MENA region. This landmark achievement not only underscored his commitment to staying at the vanguard of industry trends but also solidified his reputation as a trailblazer in the field.
In 2022, as (CSIB) transitioned into Abu Dhabi Insurance Brokers (AIB) following its partnership with Royal Strategic Partners, Joseph’s legacy of excellence continued unabated. Despite encountering alleged legal adversities during the expansion of business operations into Iraq, Joseph emerged victorious. Today, under the banner of AIB, he continues to drive change and set benchmarks in the insurance sector. With an unwavering commitment to innovation, customer service, and ethical business practices, his leadership serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and industry stalwarts alike.
