“Do what you do best. Outsource the rest.”

 – Peter Drucker

Business process outsourcing was first operated in the manufacturing sector but is most commonly utilized by many corporate operators and consultants who ply their trade in business process outsourcing, also known as the BPO industry. Hiring a consultant in some situations may be the right call, as it might just be the cheaper option. BPO consultants like Russell Wickner Meiselman provide services that help companies save time and money, improve management overhead, augment processes to be more efficient, accelerate business results, and cultivate revenue growth in today’s constantly evolving and competitive marketplace. Under his leadership, his company has dealt with industry leaders like Pfizer, Wells Fargo, and SunEdison Power. While BPO has its advantages, such as being cost-friendly and enabling greater productivity, there are also some disadvantages, such as security concerns, hidden expenses, and over-dependence.

Co-founder of Clark Outsourcing Russell Wickner Meiselman, born on July 14, 1990, in the Philippines, is an American business leader, entrepreneur, and business consultant known well for his supremacy in the BPO industry. Although Russell was born in the Philippines, his family migrated to America, where he has been living since. Since an early age, Russel had a self-made attitude in terms of career and started working odd jobs from a very young age. At just 15, he was employed at a friend’s café and switched many jobs afterward. Russel made sure to absorb all kinds of exposure he could get from the workplace, mastering his skills in all sorts of professions like welding, fence-building, etc., which proved fruitful in the future. His engagement at different places also includes his employment at Circuit City and the DMV before finding his work ethic while working for Security Fence of Arizona Inc. during summers in high school.

Russel’s passion for doing something significant did not let him wait for adulthood, instilling in him the will to start a small-scale business while still studying at Sahuaro High School, where he played varsity football and rugby. Russell played rugby for the University of Arizona but never completed his degree. He started as a salesman taking over the position of manager in a short span. Subsequently, he moved on to consult businesses, where he would eventually visit the Philippines and team up with Zachary Williams Zack to create his company, Clark Staff, which has now grown to 1000 employees across seven countries.

Russel’s interest in traveling makes him even more passionate about his work, and he has traveled to more than 50 countries up until now. He later worked for Capital Connect, a home security company helping them set up call centers overseas. But his career took a significant step forward when he was contracted by a subcontractor of Honeywell to travel to India, the Philippines, and Georgia to consult and set up their call centers. This experience paved the way for him to start The Lead Tree with his current business partner, Zachary Williams, in 2012. The Lead Tree was a lead generation company specializing in sales and appointment setting for solar and business loan companies like SolarCity, First Solar, Capital One, and Wells Fargo.

Apart from Clark Outsource, Russel is the co-founder of a jujitsu gym franchise called CheckMat. He also rents out properties in the Philippines, Georgia, Florida, the US, and NZ and runs a 27-unit hotel called the Dennison. Additionally, he owns a car rental business named Gaano, which currently has approximately 30 cars in its fleet. Russel’s entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm have led him to be recognized as one of the many unstoppable entrepreneurs aiming to make an impact on society.
