STAY HERE” is a captivating collaboration between Noah Guy and neo-soul sensation Amaria. Their sultry vocals intertwine like wisps of emotion, floating over a backdrop of lush orchestral strings and a swung drum groove. This 00s-R&B inspired track exudes a dream-like quality, showcasing Noah Guy’s “retro futuristic” sound. Influenced by legends like Lauryn Hill and Mos Def, while infusing contemporary elements from artists like Dominic Fike, Noah Guy weaves infectious melodies with a mesmerizing sonic expression. “STAY HERE” evokes a lasting, timeless evocation that could remain on repeat through any decade.

Serving as the follow up to his previous singles, “BROTHER’S KEEPER” (feat. Braxton Cook) and BIG BOYS DON’T CRY,” the new track arrives on the heels of his EP TAKEN TIME?! (ACT I)which arrived in November of last year, featuring singles 5 MO’ MINUTES and 2 DOGS 1 LEASH,” a dreamy tune thatquickly surpassed the 4 million stream mark and gained acclaim from the likes of Billboard, 1883 Magazine and more.

Building off of the emotional rawness of Noah Guy’s 2021 debut EP is it real?WHO’S TAKEN TIME?! (ACT I)represents the sound of an artist continuing to color outside the lines of soul. This new music is the byproduct of his changed physical surroundings — a cross-country move from his East Coast roots to Los Angeles — where the perpetual sunshine has helped him uncover a new, lighter side to his moody sound. With the arrival of “BIG BOYS DON’T CRY,” “BROTHER’S KEEPER,” and now “STAY HERE,” Noah Guy is ready to share more of himself with the world.

Raised in Philly, Noah Guy blames the “Motown’s Greatest Hits” CD that was stuck in his Dad’s Jeep as the catalyst for his musical journey. His 2021 debut EP titled, “is it real?” was written and recorded from his childhood bedroom; the 4-track project was a brief yet striking sonic experience of boundaryless soul music touching on topics of masculinity, intimacy, self-isolation, and absent-mindedness. Now living in Los Angeles, Noah Guy welcomed his most realized and full-bodied project yet, WHO’S TAKEN TIME?! (ACT I) EP at the end of last year. He now returns with new singles “BIG BOYS DON’T CRY” and “BROTHER’S KEEPER,” with the promise of more new music on the way.
