A master of creating soundscapes equally suited to headphones as they are club speakers, Tainy is ready to collect his flowers. Teaming up with a trio of reggaeton’s biggest stars, the game-changing artist/producer shares “La Baby” ft. Daddy Yankee, Feid & Sech. Today, Zane Lowe debuted “La Baby” on his Apple Music 1 show during a globally timed release. Tainy joined Zane for an interview on the show, and Tainy is currently gracing the cover of Apple Music’s New Music Daily playlist.

A mutating banger that packs an album’s worth of ideas into three minutes, “La Baby” allows each superstar to have their moment in the spotlight. The song opens with Feid, as he sings over Tainy’s symphonic sync arpeggio, which gradually builds to a driving riddim. When the beat drops, Feid switches his delivery, spitting some rapidfire melodies to close things off. The other two artists follow in his example–Sech shows off his rich, soulful baritone over sliding 808s, while the Big Boss, Daddy Yankee, demonstrates his unparalleled rhyming prowess over drums that stop and start along with his vocal pattern. Together, the three rappers and presiding producer deliver a love letter to reggaeton, and the carefree dancing and positive vibras that the music inspires.

The song arrives with a brand new video, featuring some of the Latin world’s biggest stars and most promising talents lip syncing to the lyrics. Filmed in a low-res, VHS style, the “La Baby” features cameos from Camila CabelloBecky G, Puerto Rican celebrity Lali, singer-songwriter Elena Rose, Spanish singer Bad Gyal, Venezuelan actress Evaluna Montaner, Latin Grammy winner PaoPao, and rising Puerto Rican star RaiNao.
