Zahedi was reared in a Muslim household in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, where he was born on January 1, 1976. After that, he got his PGDPM in the year 2000 and joined a Japanese multinational corporation, after which he accepted a job with an American multinational corporation. After three years, he quit his job at the American headquarters as well and moved to Qatar, where he first worked as a business development manager at Al Baidah Trading & Contracting W.L.L. and then subsequently as the Head of Sales and Marketing at QADCO-Decotech. He has now returned to the United States.

After directing a few T.V. dramas and writing a T.V. book for a television network, he ultimately became a member of the T.V. Zahedi debuted as a film director in 2022 with the film “Kagoz,” a romantic thriller that examines the secret life of a deceased person as it is disclosed after the individual’s passing. The film, which stars Mamnun Hasan Emon and Airin Sultana as the leading characters, has received accolades for its compelling narrative and expert directing, both of which critics have lauded.
