Emerging Artist BBYJOE Making Headlines in 2022 See Why

BBYJOE is a Chicago-based artist and musician. He’s been making music for the past four years and has a unique style and sound that is different from many other artists.

His wavy sound and bouncy beats put out all kinds of vibes his fans connect to. He’s all about connecting through his music, living the example of following your dreams, and also showing others that they can reach their dreams too.

He credits his father as the biggest influence in his life, and one of the hardest-working people he knows. Ever since he was a child, he looked up to his father and his big gold chains, and now he’s walking the same path, in his own way.

BBYJOE has a new single dropping next month called “Know the Truth” featuring Oa MARQ!! His last single, “What I Need” had an impressive streaming count of 270K on YouTube and 40K on Spotify, charting on a compilation album that went Top 10 on Billboard.

He received a Chicago music award for Most Talented Upcoming Team. He’s also won competitions to open for artists like G Herbo, etc. His current goals are to keep putting gout music for the people, to keep grinding, and to focus on his craft.

Looking to always be original with his sound and style, BBYJOE using multiple genres in each of his songs, whether its trap influenced drums, dance inspired synth leads, or his R&B/Alternative inspired baselines, he has something for everyone who tunes in.

ATX Cypher Drops New Video “Toxins” As He Prepares For Barz, Jarz, & Cigarz Music Festival

Off his ATX collaboration mixtape “Codeine Metaverse” comes “Toxins” a different play on your typical drug 420 smoking vybe type track. We took it lyrical and combined that with a more melodic feel of a trap or club joint you might come to expect.

Atx Cypher & Nez Tha Villain has been making some real noise in Austin, TX. With such a unique combination of personalities with the lyricism its not something you have seen and heard 1 million times.

This is now the third visual they have collabed in with Big & Little Productions. Check out the visual below!

Atx Cypher also has a podcast dropping next week called You Gon Pass That? where he and Big T smoke weed, talk current events and music, and have good ol time!

Barz, Jarz, & Cigarz Music Festival

This festival taking place in Webberville, TX about 30 mins from Austin, TX features 50 ATX Emcees, graffiti artist, legal cannabis products, food trucks, river float, and much more. This came together as ATX Cypher thought there was a demand for a outdoor hip hop music festival in the live music capital of the world but there nothing like that here. Hip hop always get shoved under the rug at bigger events like SXSW and ACL. Cypher financed and put the whole thing together himself ax a way to give back to the ATX Hiphop scene as they are showing Cypher tons of support!

Journalist : What is your name and what city do you rep?

My name is Mayjah Payne from West LA, California.

Journalist :  Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?

I just released my project “In A Mayjah Way” and it just charted #25 on the Apple Music ITunes Charts in the USA and hit #1 on the Apple Music ITunes Charts in the UK! I’m feeling really appreciative right now. I was also featured on Sirr Jones “Entreprenegro” project that reached #3 on the Apple Music ITunes Charts. It’s a lot of good energy going right now!

Journalist :  What is unique about you and your music?

I like to make soundtracks to life. I want my experiences to give me songs that people can relate to. I want you always to guess how I am going to come next because the style is so versatile, you know

Journalist :  When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?

I realized it since my big brother Swoop was doing choreography with MC Hammer. After seeing what “#setlife”was like in my childhood, I wanted to eat craft service snacks all day in my adult life.

Journalist : What type of music do you listen to?

I mainly listen to Hip-Hop & RB. But hey, a good song is a good song no matter the genre.

Journalist :  What inspires you to write music?

Life inspires me to write music. Culture also. Life and culture = Payne.

Journalist :  What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?

When I don’t write music, I like to travel. I like exploring and finding some new shhh. Put me on!

Journalist :  What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?

As Shorty T @Sthug84 says, “It’s not about who you know, it’s about who knows you.” A lot of this is perspective and you have to perceive yourself as greatness to achieve greatness.

Journalist :  Where do we find you music / music projects?

Go to my website and type “Mayjah Payne” in the search engine on all streaming platforms. Some of my older work is listed as my alter ego “Marc Payne” so have fun finding my catalogue, I dropped some gems in there. Instagram me @MayjahPayne for all of my updates.
