My name is Antonio Zarco. I’m an aspiring vocalist and I’m from Monroe Township, NJ.
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
Well, there’s a lot of music I am currently working on.. It is original music I am writing and also collabing with other musical artists on some big projects for the future. What inspired me to be able to write my original music that is in the works right now is from a lot of challenges from me growing up. Some difficult times in my life that I couldn’t express myself through words but that can only be expressed through the power of song.
What is unique about you and your music?
I can say that the part about my original music being unique is that it tells a story from only my standpoint, that only I can relate it to difficult times in my life and the struggles I went through to get to where I am today. I also think what’s also unique about my music is that it can relate and bring people closer together knowing that they’re not alone. That my music can hopefully one day also relate to other people based on some similarities that happened in their lives, compared to mine. What makes me unique as an artist, singer, performer is that I live through the power of music. Meaning that I connect through people when I’m singing and performing on stage. I bring the life out of people using the power of song.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
Well at the time I didn’t think I was going to make it professionally until I started to sing when I was very young. When I fell in love with music. My mom always told me I used to sing before I learned how to talk. When I started putting myself out there, doing choir all the way from elementary school through college (present day). I knew music was my life and I wanted to do it for the rest of my life because in all honesty without music I don’t think I would be where I am today. It was when I also started taking music seriously and having a lot of fun with it.
What type of music do you listen to?
I grew up listening to a whole variety of genres. I started listening to classical music then transitioning over to Musical Theater, Pop, Pop-Country, R&B, Hip Hop, Jazz, Blues, Gospel and so much more.
What inspires you to write music?
What inspires me to write music is the struggles that I went through as a person whether it was a breakup or something very personal. It brings a lot of emotions and those flow to what I write today and that will be coming out soon.
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
On some days that I don’t do music, I take the time to go on walks and to appreciate life around me and that we’re very fortunate to have a lot of things in this world that give us hope and strength. Other days I like to spend time with family and friends and to appreciate the people who support me the most. To cherish those special moments and to keep them in your hearts.
What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help other artists just starting out?
All I can say is, if you love music and you think this is the perfect field of where you want to be and you want to do this for the rest of your life, do it. Don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. Do what you love to do. Don’t let anyone talk down on you for loving and creating music. Don’t let anyone tell you, you can’t do it because you won’t be successful. The best energy is proving those people wrong and showing them that you can. That’s all that matters. Proving all the haters wrong is the best thing you will ever feel and you won’t even need them anymore. Do what you’re most proud of and keep fighting and never give up on that dream.

The versatile Sirr Jones passion for all forms of music created his belief that: “music is the soul of man”. He practices this belief through his conglomeration of catchy tunes and insightful and at times hilarious freestyles. Hailing from California’s Inland Empire, it was 2007 in the Tucson Desert where Sirr’s epic crusade began with small town hits such as “Light it Up”. During his time in Tucson his stage presence and freestyle earned him the moniker “Sirr” meaning all would have to address him with respect. Jones true strength is his ability to change with the mercurial world of Hip Hop and R&B while maintaining his own distinct style. Truth be told One Kay is the type of artists you have to relate to his lyrics to truly understand the emcee. You have to start at the beginning of the emcee’s catalog. Which would take awhile. Then you have to know his street credibility. Then you will find his music to be amongst one of the industry’s top entertainers. If you aren’t already following him online, go ahead now! https://instagram.com/dareal1kay?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
One Kay, born Dontavious Hubbard, moved from Chicago to Atlanta at an early age with his siblings and mother, who was in search of a better and safer life for her children. While she thought this would be the case in a new city, Hubbard’s mother noticed suspicious behavior from her son at around age 13. This was about the same time he began to record under the name One Kay. Upon further investigation, his mother discovered One Kay’s gang affiliation and illegal hustles. Faced with cutting his ties to moving out, One Kay made the decision at age 16 to live on his own and fend for himself. From that point forward, One Kay was focused on proving himself to the world and began to harness his time and energy into rap.
One Kay’s hard work and patience paid off when, through his brother, the budding rap star was connected with Guap Tarantino, cousin of rap mogul and current star Future. Along with Tarantino, One Kay formed the rap crew Young Freebandz and became affiliated with the label of the same name run by Future. The crew took off, racking up millions of streams, but reached a roadblock when One Kay went to prison for illegal possession of a firearm. After serving his six-month sentence, One Kay began to focus on himself and on his solo career. Releasing a couple EPs, along with some singles, the Atlanta rap prodigy began to hone in on his writing and lyrical abilities. One Kay’s next project, Planet X, will be his most lyrically ambitious to date, focusing on bettering yourself, the world, and fighting off your demons. Due out at the end of the year, One Kay shared that you “might just catch your favorite rapper” on this new project.
