1. Congratulations on signing with Big Condo Records! What does this milestone mean to you personally and professionally?
Thank you so much! Honestly, it feels like such a huge step forward. Personally, it’s a real confidence boost, to know that a label sees potential in me and believes in my music. Professionally, it means I finally have a platform and a team behind me to help share my songs with a wider audience. It’s exciting because it feels like the start of a new chapter, one where I can really grow as an artist.
2. Can you take us back to the moment you found out you were getting signed—what was going through your mind?
I remember feeling a mix of disbelief and pure joy. There was definitely a part of me that couldn’t quite process it at first – like, is this happening? I’ve worked hard on my writing and performing, so to finally get recognition in that way was surreal. Once it sank in, I just felt this rush of gratitude and excitement about what’s to come.
3. What drew you to Big Condo Records specifically? Was there something about their vision or roster that resonated with you?
Big Condo really stood out to me because of how artist-focused they are. They don’t just sign artists and leave them to figure things out, they really nurture and guide you. I love how diverse their roster is too; there’s such a wide range of voices and sounds, and yet everyone is encouraged to keep their individuality. That really resonated with me because I want to stay true to who I am while also pushing myself creatively.

4. How would you describe your sound, and how do you see it evolving now that you’re backed by a major independent label?
I’d describe my sound as a blend of folk-inspired storytelling with a pop edge — I love weaving personal, emotional lyrics into melodies that feel relatable and catchy. People often say my music has hints of artists like Kate Bush or Joni Mitchell, but with a modern twist. Now that I’m with Big Condo, I see my sound evolving in a bigger, more polished way. I’ll always keep that raw, heartfelt core, but I’m excited to experiment more with production, layering, and maybe even collaborate with other artists on the roster.
5. Every artist has a story—what has your journey been like up to this point, and what have been some of the biggest challenges you’ve overcome?
My journey so far has been a mix of highs and lows. I started writing and performing because it was my way of expressing myself and making sense of the world, and I’ve loved every moment on stage, even the small ones. One of the biggest challenges has been overcoming self-doubt — wondering if I was good enough, if anyone would listen. It can be tough starting out, playing small venues or open mics, and not knowing where it’s all leading. But each step, even the difficult ones, has made me stronger and more determined. Signing with Big Condo feels like proof that pushing through those challenges was worth it.
6. What can fans expect from your first project with Big Condo Records? Any hints on themes, collaborations, or sound direction?
Fans can expect a project that’s really tailored for them, I’m thinking about the people who’ve been following me from day one, but also reaching new listeners who vibe with this sound. Musically, it’s a mix of atmospheric pop with some edgier, experimental moments. And visually, I’m making a big push on music videos, I want each song to have its own cinematic world that fans can dive into.
7. You’ve built a growing fan base even before the label deal, how has your connection with your audience shaped your music?
Honestly, my fans are like a sounding board for me. I write with them in mind, but I also listen to their stories and experiences—they give me perspective I might not have on my own. That connection has made me more honest in my music; I want my songs to feel like conversations, not just performances.
8. Who or what inspires you creatively, and how do those influences come through in your work?
I draw inspiration from so many places—other musicians, visual art, and films. Artists who tell stories with their music, who blend vulnerability and strength, really resonate with me. You can hear that in my work through the way I layer lyrics and textures, trying to create something that’s both emotionally raw and sonically immersive.

9. As an emerging artist now on a bigger platform, how do you plan to use your voice beyond music—whether it’s for social causes, mental health, or something else important to you?
I feel a responsibility to speak up on issues I care about, especially mental health and creative empowerment. I want to normalize conversations about vulnerability and growth, and support platforms that help people express themselves safely. Music is my main voice, but I hope to extend that into advocacy and community-building too.
10. What’s one thing people don’t know about you yet, but will soon see now that you’re stepping fully into the spotlight?
I think people will see a more fearless side of me—someone willing to take risks creatively and personally. I’ve spent a lot of time experimenting behind the scenes, and now it’s time to show that curiosity and boldness on stage and through my music.
